Eight large and ergonomic keys, which can be illuminated in five different colors form a unit.
For larger control panels you can add further units without a gap and electrically connected due to integrated Ethernet switches as well as looped through 24 V DC.
For safety-related applications there is a failsafe variant KP8F PN.

Windows CE based Handheld Panels for mobile HMI close to the machine with combined key and touch operation available in three variants for use in PROFIBUS environment and corresponding variants with PROFINET connection.
SIMATIC Mobile Panels are compact, ergonomically designed, while at the same time being rugged enough for industrial use. They are operated by means of touch screens and membrane keyboards. Additional operating elements increase user-friendliness and permit direct access to the distributed IO.
As part of the sophisticated safety concept, the STOP pushbutton can be used for stopping the machine in critical situations.

SIMATIC Mobile Panel series 270

The Mobile Panels of series 270 combine the advantages of mobile HMI with the power of the 270 performance class. 

Series 270 Mobile Panels are offered as wired devices with 8 and 10 inch TFT-displays and wireless 8 inch devices with standard or failsafe functionality.
All wired devices can be connected to PROFIBUS or PROFINET. The selection of the desired communication bus takes place by selecting the corresponding cable and respective connection box. For this, all cables and connection boxes already released for the Mobile Panel 177 are available.
